For the enduring canoeist, we have trips up to 7 days. The river from Grayling to Oscoda is all wilderness and camping is all primitive. A few designated areas have public campgrounds to offer. With an average depth of 1 to 3 feet and a 4 to 6 mile per hour current, the river is nice for all members of the family and groups of all sizes.

Kayaking
Come experience kayaking on the AuSable River in our user friendly kayaks. Our kayaks are easy to maneuver because they are shorter than typical kayaks, making them run straighter. They feature a longer cockpit for easy entry and exit and their width makes them more stable. Our supplier calls them the "right side up kayak."
- McKinley Bridge to 4001 Bridge, 2 1/2 hours
- Comins to 4001 Bridge, 5 hours
- All Day (you haul)
