Area Fishing Opportunities

Residents and visitors who like to fish are encouraged to check out the Cheboygan River, and it's river mouth into Lake Huron. Coffman's Hardware in Mackinaw City has fishing licenses and usually can tell you where the fish are biting. The river is a beautiful and tranquil passageway to Mullet Lake, suitable for paddle-boards, kayaks, canoes, and motorboats of most all sizes.
