A golfer’s delight as four scenic golf courses traverse the Manistique area: Garden Golf Estates, Indian Lake Golf Course, Nahma Golf Course, and Stony Point.

Spend an exhilarating day snowmobiling on our beautifully groomed trails along the Manistique River and through scenic forests, then connect to over 2,000 miles of groomed trails throughout the U.P. Other outdoor activities include cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice fishing and hunting.

Fayette State Park
Take a leisurely stroll back in time through our restored iron smelting village. Beginning at the Visiting Center, you will become informed and ready to tour the 22 historic buildings and exhibits. Open May through October.

The beautiful landscape of the Manistique area offers year-round opportunities for scenic tours - especially when the autumn leaves are at the peak of their color.

Old Winter Tour is one of the many historic sites in Schoolcraft County. Built in 1923 and constructed in the "Roman revival" style, it is also listed in the national register.

Seul Choix Lighthouse, built in 1892, once guided French and Native American fur traders on the rough waters of Lake Michigan. Today fishermen and sailors still rely on its fully operational beacon for safe passage. Tours and Museum open Memorial Day through Mid-September.

The Bishop Baraga Shrine near Indian Lake includes a chapel, Indian dwellings, and buildings open to the public.
