Nature’s Kennel is home to over 60 Alaskan Huskies. Owners Ed and Tasha competitively race in distance races across the nation. In addition to racing, Nature’s Kennel has won many notable awards for its exceptional dog care. Nature’s Kennel sled dogs are well known not only for their outstanding athletic achievements but also for their wonderful personalities.
Ed and Tasha will provide you with the basic skills necessary for driving your own dog team. The 2-day trips are designed for novice mushers with little or no previous experience. The 5-day trips require some sled driving experience and the desire to experience extreme winter camping.
All adventures include meals and lodging. The first night of each trip is spent in our guest bunkhouse. Guest on the 2-day adventures have the option of spending a night on the trail in our heated winter camping tent or a second night in the bunkhouse.
