Have made two visits one for dinner and one at lunch Have to say both were very enjoyable We split a dinner and the staff gladly brought a extra plate no Extra Charges !! Lunch the sandwichs were very large and the homemade chips were DELICIOUS Very clean and a friendly staff
We came up for the 2013 Labor Day bridge walk. We were looking for a place to eat and I had tried the Dixe Saloon previously and had a good memory of it so I thought we would give it a try. I was impressed for as busy as they were (late Sunday evening) we got a seat and had a late supper, food was very good and the service was very pleasant. On Monday after walking the bridge and working up an appetite we headed back there for some lunch. We split a whole chicken dinner and they brought us out extra sides to accompany the chicken, while we paid for the sides we did not have to pay extra for splitting the chicken. To top it off the chicken was excellent! Filled us up and we were satisfied with our choice, staff was very polite and professional the next day as well. I will be back on my next trip!
